Do I need insurance to rent a car?

Private Rentals: Yes, all renters are required to have current Full Coverage Insurance. Your insurance will be validated before you take possession of the vehicle. If you do not have Full Coverage Insurance, you will be able to purchase insurance during the booking process.

Turo: This booking platform offers insurance options when booking the vehicle.

TripCity: Insurance is automatically including with the rental.

What kinds of payment does R3 Whipz accept?

Private Rental: Most credit cards issued by major financial institutions, including American Express and Discover. No Debit or Pre-Paid Cards allowed.

Turo and TripCity:

They accept the following payment methods issued in the primary guest’s name:

· Most credit cards issued by major financial institutions, including American Express and Discover

· Non-temporary debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo that are linked to a checking account. (Includes debit cards from online banks, such as Chime, Ally, and others

· Doesn’t include reloadable debit cards such as Simple, Chase Liquid, or EDD)

· Revolt card (No other prepaid cards)

· Apple Pay on mobile devices in all locations

· Google Pay on mobile devices in Canada and the US

How old do I have to be to rent a car from R3 Whipz?

You must be at least 21 years of age to rent from us. You must not have any severe moving violations and/or DUI cases on your record. If so, there is a possibility your rental agreement and or reservation will be denied. If you are under the age of 25 you may inquire with us for more information.

Can I add another driver?

· Guests can add up to eight additional drivers.

· Additional drivers must pass our verification process to be added to a trip.

Can I cancel my reservation?

· You can cancel most trips yourself without contacting R3 Whipz, Turo, or TripCity.

· All cancellations are effective immediately.

· Once you cancel, you’re no longer authorized to receive or drive the vehicle.

Fuel, Tolls, Driving Tickets, Towed Vehicles, Parking Tickets and Red Light Camera Tickets:

Refueling:

All vehicles will have a full tank of gas at Trip Start. This is recorded by R3 Whipz Personnel. Renter are required to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas, if not, there will be a Refueling Charge.

There’s a $10 Refueling Fee + Refueling Charge.

Tolls:

Tolls are the responsibility of the Renter. All vehicles are equipped with UNI Passes or monitored by FleetIT.

Out of State Tolls may take several weeks to months to reach R3 Whipz. In those cases, those tolls will be processed, and Toll Invoices will be sent to the client.

Driving Tickets:

Each driver is responsible for their own driving citation’s and driving tickets. This may take months after your Trips End.

Parking Tickets and Red Light Cameras:

The renter is fully responsible for any parking citations, and red light camera tickets during the rental period. This may take months after your Trips End.

Towed Vehicle:

Any towing charges for illegal parking or damages incurred during the rental cycle will be deducted from the deposit and/or billed to the client.

The client can continue the rental after the charges are paid, and the vehicle is released.

Can I return my car a day or more early?

We charge the full amount of the rental in advance or on the day of the rental. Once a vehicle is reserved, we are not allowed to rent the vehicle during the days of your rental period. If you cancel early, you will be given a credit for future rentals in the amount of days left during your rental period.

How many miles do I get?

Most vehicles are offered with 250 miles per day. If you go over your allotted miles, it will be assessed at your Trips End.

Can I get a car for just 1 day rental on Friday, Saturday and Sunday?

We have a 2-day minimum on weekends, and Yes in the rental industry Friday is considered a weekend because the demand is considerably higher. However, we can offer a non-guaranteed 1-day rental on weekends depending on availability.

Does R3 Whipz deliver their cars?

Currently, we do not offer Vehicle Deliver/Pick-up. If you decide you truly need delivery service, please contact R3 Whipz @ 470-665-5588 before booking any vehicle.
